1. Data We Collect
Account data: Email address and authentication metadata when you sign up via magic link.
Watchlist data: Stock tickers and scoring preferences you configure in your dashboard.
Usage data: Page views and interaction metrics collected via CapraLens (our first-party, cookie-free analytics).
Subscription data: Billing tier and Stripe customer ID (no card details — Stripe handles payment processing).
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to: (a) provide and personalise the QuantCapra dashboard experience; (b) maintain your watchlist and scoring preferences across sessions; (c) enforce subscription tier access; (d) monitor service health and detect abuse.
3. Third-Party Services
Supabase (EU-West-1, Ireland): Authentication and database hosting. Your account and watchlist data are stored with row-level security policies.
Stripe: Payment processing for paid tiers. Stripe stores your billing information per their privacy policy. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Vercel: Application hosting and global edge delivery.
CapraLens: First-party analytics — no third-party cookies, no personal data, hosted on our own infrastructure.
4. Market Data
Stock prices, fundamentals, and market data used in signal scoring are sourced from third-party market data providers. We do not store raw market data associated with your account.
5. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is protected by row-level security (RLS) policies. API keys and secrets are stored as environment variables and never exposed client-side.
6. Data Retention
Your account and watchlist data are retained for as long as your account is active. Account deletion removes all associated data. Subscription records are retained for accounting purposes as required by law.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to: access your data, request correction or deletion, export your watchlist, and withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies for authentication session management (Supabase auth token). No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies are set.
